Last month, during the same week, I was totally murdered by looks from gangs, two times. The first time it was the upgraded tuggar gang that has realized that Chigago bulls snapbacks and 80’s references such as rope chains are “swag”. I call them h-hipsters as in hip hop hipsters. Just because I was so tired of people being so stupid and walking around in clothes that when I wore was called “gay”, I was all dressed in grey shades, a turtleneck and an african beanie. I entered the train and found myself surrounded by a bunch of Lakers snapbacks and staring eyes, I started walking away to find a seat and as I had walked passed them one of them shouted “look at that nigga!” and they all burst out in laugh. They themself were afro-swedes, right at that moment I didn’t think it was fun, but now I think it was a quite interesting moment with all the different perspectives;
The h-hipsters saw me as some sort of newly arrived african who wanted to stay true to my roots and that I didn't get that what they’re wearing was what was hot. But what they don’t get is that they’re going to try to dress like this in about 2 years time. (NOTE: the word TRY)
The other occasion I played with my 2FACED1, I wore a pair of adidas pants (in true tuggar spirit), a nike bomber jacket and to contrast a see-through, shiny shirt. When I was walking passed the station entrence I got met by about 40 scanning-to-categorize pair of eyes, from the local tuggar-gang. Before all of them saw me I used my chameleon-skills, closed my jacket and run past them, and yes, I know I should’ve actually taken off my jacket and walked the PIMP walk past them but I just didn’t have the fighting spirit that day! #2FACED1confessions #Classical2FACED1moment
