about 2faced1.com

"2FACED1 is a visionary digital network,  a loose collective with members in Europe, Africa and North America, bound together by what we call ‘stereotypophobia’."

Stereotypophobia

“It is all about critical questioning of what identity really is. Would you be the same person in another context? Does society have certain expectations on you based on traditional parameters like class, gender, color, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and so on? And how much do these expectations affect your so-called self? Every forward thinking person are aware of those things, its a gift which  also make you relate to other peoples struggles.”

Classic Item: Madonnas Desperately Seeking Susan Jacket

Post date Sat 27 Jun 2009 6:03 PM

Im still shaken by yesterdays news, reminiscing over our childhood hero, there is so many things to say but I'll be back on that later. We stay in the 80'ies but salutes one with style that's still alive: MDNA

That jacket with the all seeing eye on the back from the classic movie Desperately Seeking Susan 1985, was made by costume designer Santo Loquasto, who made two of them exclusively for this movie. Later one MTV had a big competition where viewers could win similar "Madona jackets", and even these jackets has been sold on Ebay for large amounts of money. I will do something similar when I get some of that sweet thing she sang about, H O L I D A Y!
