2FACED1.com shows one persons two different faces in photos;
Persona 1: WHAT YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED AS
Persona 2: WHAT YOU FEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AS
This leads to a discussion about stereotypes and inner fears of getting misunderstood by the surroundings. Thoughts that every thinking modern day person does reflect upon. We're asking every day people from an innercity context where old categories as ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class are reassessed, why they choose to look like they do. We’re diggin' deep, peeling off garments, codes and attributes. We’re searching for transnational identities - is the conclusion that we choose whoever we want to be today?!
A 2FACED1 STATE OF MIND
A 2FACED1 is highly aware of existing stereotypes related to your own ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class. You’re trying to avoid them but sometimes also play with them to make people think twice about who you are. Two faced doesn’t mean anything negative here, it explains the double folded view you have on identity if you’re not the existing norm. It means you have the feet in different worlds, can move between them but feel rather at home in that space in between. You've stepped out of your comfort zone and have become one of the new identities where ol' categories are mashed up and rootlessness and non-given identity just means major possibilities.
2FACED1 is a state of mind, 2FACED1.com is a display-window for this mindset and the network of 2FACED1 includes all of you progressive non-stereotypes with a double perspective on identity.

STAY GOLD aka Carli and Måns brought the heavy artillery for their showcase at P3 GULD GALAN (ca 0.48), there we had SALEM Al Fakir (who was as great as always, but I can't help imagine a KAAH comeback on that beat, I mean he's the originator of the nu-Prince sound). Then the visionary NAEEM of SPANK ROCK shows up in a priest s gown looking like a young DR DRE, I loved aaaall about it.
So finally she appered, sensible singin in that special way; ROBYNs enters the scene in the outfit I helped her out with! It's a rose dress especially made for her by HERNANDEZ - CORNET, the amazing pin/earpiece is PHILIP VAN DE ROQ, striped nylons, knee high pair of shiny MARTENS and as the cream of the crop a spanish GAUCHO HAT (also called Zorro hat!) on her back! Eye shadow in bronze teracotta and búrgundy nails, hair a bit shaggy and softer, different from last year, - thank God for that, otherwise we could have misstaken September for her...hmmm. There is some small things I ve could done better, stuff look different on TV - but that's why we always improve...
I wish the Guldgalan-producers had shown a little bit more of her and less dancers but other than that it was an amazing ahowcase, Carli and Måns all dressed up posing, Salem as Damian Adore and then especially the last "highschool" dance between Robyn and Naeem, that's TRUE LOVE, that's true love what an spot on idea! That was muthafucking THE THORN BIRDS with Reverend Naeem and Ms R!!!!
Robyn promised me photos so Ill update this post later!
