This leads to a discussion about stereotypes and inner fears of getting misunderstood by the surroundings. Thoughts that every thinking modern day person does reflect upon. We're asking every day people from an innercity context where old categories as ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class are reassessed, why they choose to look like they do. We’re diggin' deep, peeling off garments, codes and attributes. We’re searching for transnational identities - is the conclusion that we choose whoever we want to be today?!

 

A 2FACED1 STATE OF MIND

A 2FACED1 is highly aware of existing stereotypes related to your own ethnicity, color, nationality, gender, sexual orientation and class. You’re trying to avoid them but sometimes also play with them to make people think twice about who you are. Two faced doesn’t mean anything negative here, it explains the double folded view you have on identity if you’re not the existing norm. Self awareness is a gift, because it also helps you to understand other peoples situations better. To be a 2FACED1 is to have the feet in different worlds, be able to move between them but feel rather at home in that space in between. You've stepped out of your comfort zone and has become one of the new identities where ol' categories are mashed up and rootlessness and non-given identity just means major possibilities.

AMAZING WEEKEND. AMAZING FRIENDS. Thought I was gonna have a mature and peaceful birthday with dinner and wine. Ok I kinda knew that the mature-and-peaceful thing wasn't gonna work for more than 5 minutes, but atleast it sounded like decent birthday celebrating when I talked to my mom. ANYWAY.... I walked to that so called "dinner" which of course was a big fucking lie. All suddenly I was in a bingo hall (HELLO OVEREXCITMENT!! and yes, we almost got kicked out) with all my friends and the rest of the night was HEY HEY LINN IN SHOCK, HEY HEY SURPRISE PARTY, HEY HEY RUM AND COKE, HEY HEY HAPPY LINN!

2FACED1 AND WESC AT SPY BAR

Okey here we go Linn 26 years old today. (Saturday)((Wrote this yesterday)) Go shorty it’s my b-day unt so weiter. No fucking nice stuff. PURE MAYHEM!!!! Alex and Viktor came and surprised me with mega delicious breakfast. Now I’m high on coffee, cigarettes sugar.

I thought I would have like 100 awesomnesses party pics from the 2faced1/WeSc Party but some kinda lamb meet came and seduced the photographer around midnight so…eeeh, yeah…. XXX. 

Anyway. The theme of the party and WeSC’s AW collection was The Superlative Union. And a lot of unions were formed during the night. Everything from beer unions, travel unions to save the world unions And according to reliable sources, some unions were also formed both in beds and on different kitchen tables all around Stockholm later that night/morning.

I listen to Johnny Cash’s Wish You Were Here. Usually, I wanna die when I listen to that song. But now I’m more into having fun than dying. Which is quite nice. Even though I hate nice things. They tend to be pretty boring. And being happy is pretty boring. But nice . And I guess I need nice stuff sometimes. Even though it fucking kills my writing and this blog. I mean, who wanna read about a nice happy life? Eeeeeh no one. And it’s been too much of that nice stuff lately. And when I’ve lost my panties at your boy- and girlfriends’s house’s, been arrested for heavy weapon crimes and been unconscious in hospital it has felt either too dirty, too criminal or too personal to write about. Even for this blog.

BUT! Tomorrow when I get some pics from Alex, I’m gonna give you an update of The Superlative Union Party we had with WeSC! No fucking nice stuff. PURE MAYHEM!!!! (Okey I got that cute nice smile on the picture from the party above , but that’s it!)

Hello it's Saturday and I'm a working (cl)ass hero who needs beer cuz restlessness is our time's version of the plauge. So I'm gonna get drunk like everyone else, support a disgusting industry and a drug that is a part of western post colonialism and kills more people than AIDS does every year. But I'm gonna have fun. Cuz I'm gonna be a non thinking dumb ass idiot for a while. And I need that to kill my restlessness. Cuz I always want something more. And I'm never gonna be satisfaid. So I get sad or restless. And need to get rid of that brain. Need to have fun. Need alcohol's dumb ass effect. Life's too sad. Life's too beautiful. And it's killing me. And everything's killing everything. And we're killing it. With everything.

I've been so damn proud for the past few days. I'm surrounded by multi-talented people. Don't think I've been this proud since we won the league (show jumping) in 2002. And there're not many things that can make me feel that MEGA AWESOMENESS feeling that my former horse's life gave me. First P3 GULD. The choreography our own 2faced1 superhero Decida made for Robyn's performance was fucking great!!! And then GULDBAGGEGALAN. Fantastic Ina Holmqvist and Emelie Wallgren was one of the three nominees for best documentary and their move "SÅ NÄRA" is now shown at the cinema!!!! RAVE RAVE RAVE!!!!

Listening to ALEXIS WEAKS's new album "TILL MINNE AV" is like watching Ebba & Didrik when you're seven. You don't really understand why it means so much, but it does. It's all that love you feel but you still can't stop thinking about dying. Too bad Alexis had to drop that "no homo" line and destroy something that could have been fucking great. But I'll keep on listening to "CLOONEY" on repeat and hope he understand that the next thing he has to do is to write a book with SARA STRIDSBERG. THAT would undoubtedly be FUCKING GREAT!!!
