2FACED1.com shows one persons two different faces in photos;
Persona 1: WHAT YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED AS
Persona 2: WHAT YOU FEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AS
This leads to a discussion about stereotypes and inner fears of getting misunderstood by the surroundings. Thoughts that every thinking modern day person does reflect upon. We're asking people from an innercity context where old categories as ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class are reassessed, why they choose to look like they do. We’re diggin' deep, peeling off garments, codes and attributes. We’re searching for transnational identities - is the conclusion that we choose whoever we want to be today?!
A 2FACED1 STATE OF MIND
A 2FACED1 is highly aware of existing stereotypes related to your own ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class. You’re trying to avoid them but sometimes also play with them to make people think twice about who you are. Two faced doesn’t mean anything negative here, it explains the double folded view you have on identity if you’re not the existing norm. It means you have the feet in different worlds, can move between them but feel rather at home in that space in between. You've stepped out of your comfort zone and have become one of the new identities where ol' categories are mashed up and rootlessness and non-given identity just means major possibilities.
2FACED1 is a state of mind, 2FACED1.com is a display-window for that mindset and the network of 2FACED1 includes all of you progressive, non-stereotypes with a double perspective on identity.

THIS SITE LET YOU SEE THE WORLD TROUGH A 2FACED1'S PERSPECTIVE!
Rapper Henok Achido released his new nice-looking video for "The King & The Killa" some weeks ago, see it below. For the video (Dir. Andreas Lönngren Widell + Senai Berhe) Henok claimed help from the "King of Style", as he had the courtesy to call me hehe!!! The video was made in October, and did not, of course, focus on style - we just needed to pick a bang on silouette that fitted Henok's character and the concept of the video. He wears Lee bib-and-braces (love em!), Burgundy DrMartens, white crispy tee, a hoodie and a vintage Burberry coat, worked out perfect!
PS. In the next video I expect Henok to sit in a park smelling flowers!
Style + Music -> of course I'm hyper everytime Mtv Style salutes R. Here's behind the scene photos from SNL, where Mtv took a quick chat with Robz. The leggings are such a great idea by Alexander Wang. To go with it an Opening Cermony/Rodarte top and our customized CK Belt, and finally the Philip van de Roq x Decida Style collar clip (under Collection -> Collar Clip). Oh and also; behind her you see the hostess of the nights SNL show; Katy Perry.
What a trip it's been! New York, to just step out the door and know anything can happen! I've been thinking about ways to put some kind of summation together, but we've just been through so much, met so many great people (both on a personal and professional level) that it just feels impossible to put down in 0 and 1's.
Some huge thank you's to, of course, the one and only Robyn, for taking us all on this journey, thanks to band, Ali + crew, Interscope & Cherry Tree, the whole SNL cast, Alexander Wang & Co, Stevie Huynh & Steven Aturo, Jacky & Opening Cermony, Marcus Holmlund, Jeremy Scott & Pablo. And to Helen, best hostess ever!
And I'm so thankful for all the love we've been given! Officially and in private!
"The pop music stars were (literally/figuratively/awesomely) aligned on Saturday evening when Swedish pop gem Robyn (and her BANANAS custom platform Timbs) took the SNL stage and former tour homegirl Katy Perry was the night's hostest-with-the-mostess. But was America ready for the Swedish pop tart with a bite and her body-rollin, making-out-with-herself dance moves? She did a backwards-somersault-into-a-full-on-dance-floor-hump while rocking a pristine bowl cut (which our little brothers totally had in '96) WHILST singing "Call Your Girlfriend," and it might've actually changed our lives, like, forevs. *dead* Call US, girlfriend. Not only do we wanna borrow those bouncy moves, we also want to raid that suitcase of yours."
"Swedish Pop singer Robyn was the latest musical act to guest perform on Saturday Night Live here in New York. Her outfits are always on point and Saturday’s showcase was no exception. MTV quickly picked up on who made her jacket and leggings but was stumped as to who created the crazy CK corset she wore, comprised entirely of assorted Calvin Klein boxer brief bands sewn together."
Bret Easton Ellis tweeted:
"Robyn. SNL. Awkward. Real. Probably the best musical guest they've had all season: Call Your Girlfriend and Dancing On My Own equal awesome."
"I don't need to give her advice, she needs to give me advice. She's cool, dude. She makes everyone cooler. ... She's just, like, the epitome of effortless cool, like you look at her wardrobe and you think, 'I don't think I could wear that,' but she wears it and she just owns it."
"She's always wearing platform shoes. And she was wearing them way back when, in the beginning of the tour. And now Prada's doing them; everyone's wearing them. Rihanna's wearing them. I'm wearing them after all of the convincing, so she's kind of the tastemaker. It's gonna be a great show because of that.
And the + list goes on... but there's been some minus signs too, of course, that's how you know you are doing something different - not everyone will recognize it. I bet some viewers thought who the fuck is this, what the fuck is she wearing and how the hell is she dancing? That's how it should be, don't follow the blue print, it only leads to sterotypes, and that we have a phobia of. + I know we got the heavy weights with us...and our hearts!
The Style
We kept working with what we've been doing during the whole Body Talk tour, stickin to our grapes. So the silhouette is the same, Alexander Wang blessed us with an plastic jacket from SS12 and a vest from the latest Resort Collection. Then the Ck Belt and leggings from Australian brand Black Milk (yes the fans can get their own). Before I left Sweden we also designed a new top, it follows bellow.
We recreate a M51 Nike Jacket into a shorter, sassier thing. Me on the concept, Lena on the handicraft! Robyn wore it for the promo shoot's, it became green in the graphics but further down you see the original blue one. To be worn with open kimono sleeves or, closed sleeve as R above. Beneath she wears an knitted Alexander Wang sweater, brown stockings and the Timbs.
And finally, the Robyn at the legendary Hollywood Bowl - post:
What an amazing night! I'm happy to have experienced such a thing on such legendary ground. Robin's achivement was the top of top notch and the 10 000 people in the audience went crazy b-a-n-a-n-a-s!!! We had some minor problems with the lightning, but overall it was a perfect night. I'm really satisfied with the intro (We Dance To The Beat / DFTMWTD) , something we had the idea of changing to make the starting point more powerful and it worked out sooo well! We had very little time to rehears that but with professional people everything gets solved anyhow! Just because we did this change we had to go all white so the UV light would catch Robyn in the dark, she was wearing the white McQueen tights some might have seen before but to that a knitleather body me together with Lena Buss have created for R to bw able to werk it out in.
"She's the definition of "fierce" on stage, donning wild, androgynous '80s-style get-ups, busting moves that put Beyonce to shame, and singing her obviously love-scarred heart out like it's the last time she'll ever get the chance.
The bells and whistles never overshadowed the performer herself, though. Unlike other pop divas Robyn doesn't rely on backup dancers, a zillion costume changes or cheesy props."
The after party turned into a wrecking shop where a skirt, not even by the brand of Jean Paul Gaultier, wasn't a good choice of clothing. It was one of those parties where we didn't have the time to take pictures...!!! And my muscles was hurting the day after.
If someone seen pictures from the second change, the CK belt + blue/bright tights please do enlighten me!
You saw it on Robyn a couple of weeks ago. Another collaboration between PHILIP VAN DE ROQ and DECIDA STYLE. Collar Clip in 100% Sterling silver with marble polymer beads (€ 140 possible to purchase over at philipvanderroq.com ). Bead also avaliable in a bronze/blue. What you really want for Christmas right?
West Hollywood: Mtv O - the red carpet! NY MAG's The Cut Blog thought Robyn looked a lil' bit shady, little did they know exactly how f'in shady this is haha! Cause this is red carpet for a KICKER all, yall! She wears a dress by Pedro Lourenço, to bad you can't se the fabric better it's gold treads in the transparent white, the black Jeremy Scott platform Adidas you've seen before + tights + pearls and Robyn's mum's shades from the 80'es!!! I will call it a tribute to Swedish youth culture, and the Swedish 2FACED1s of the last 30 years!
Speaking of Kickers; ni har sett våldsreporten va hehe!
I got to know that, Brazilian wunderkind of fashion: Pedro Lourenço, happened to love Robyn when I met him during fashion week in Paris thank's to my friend Sabina Kasper. I love Pedro's way of working with shapes and material so we just had to make him do something especially for her! You saw it on LENO: a special edition of the white leather jacket from his SS11 collection!
Waking up to this an early morning is oh so pleasant; Leno presents her as the dancehall queen Robyn and she brings it! She's wearing an unique piece especially made for her, more on that later today, so you BETTER stay tuned! SEE VIDEO HERE
