about 2faced1.com

2FACED1.com shows one persons two different faces in photos;

Persona 1:
WHAT YOU WANT TO BE
CONSIDERED AS

Persona 2:
WHAT YOU FEAR TO BE
CONSIDERED AS

This leads to a discussion about stereotypes and inner fears of getting misunderstood by the surroundings. Thoughts that every thinking modern day person does reflect upon. We're asking people from an innercity context where old categories as ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class are reassessed, why they choose to look like they do. We’re diggin' deep, peeling off garments, codes and attributes. We’re searching for transnational identities - is the conclusion that we choose whoever we want to be today?!

A 2FACED1 STATE OF MIND

A 2FACED1 is highly aware of existing stereotypes related to your own ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and class. You’re trying to avoid them but sometimes also play with them to make people think twice about who you are. Two faced doesn’t mean anything negative here, it explains the double folded view you have on identity if you’re not the existing norm. It means you have the feet in different worlds, can move between them but feel rather at home in that space in between. You've stepped out of your comfort zone and have become one of the new identities where ol' categories are mashed up and rootlessness and non-given identity just means major possibilities.

Miss Talk of the Town...uhumm sorry - net, 2009

Post date Thu 31 Dec 2009 2:53 PM

VIBE wasn't dead too long, they returning with Miss talk of the town...uhumm sorry - net of 2009: Amber Rose.(See more at Fashion Bomb)

As usual us 2FACED1's never see it only from one angle

THE EVIL TWIN SAY Amber Style is:

- Expose your ass video vixen style

- Shave your head and dye your hair blonde to look edgier than the average pin up mama

- Get a celebrity (the celebrity) boyfriend with good taste

- Let him and his contacts help you dress up

- Get hip enough, but for GOD's sake don't be too hip so you'll loose your mainstream sex appeal

- And btw her face without make up is just not beautiful enough for becoming a real model

THE GOOD TWIN SAY about Amber

- Better a thick ass than a skinny catwalk one

- Her beauty of mixed etnicithy and with blonde hair is pushing western ideals of beauty

- I rather look at Ambers Pop Art Fashion outfits than boring High End fashionistas

- Her more androgyne look and sassy eclectic style embodied the spirit of 2009

DECIDA's opinions is somewhere inbetween as you already know, but I'm always checking her out, no doubt! And she's definitely one of the STYLE ICONS of 2009 even though it's more about her looks and apperance and her picking up existing trends, than her actual personal skills in clothing or being avantgarde !

Did He Find Her?

Post date Thu 19 Feb 2009 8:53 AM

Here he is again (notice the unmatching jeans washes!) with ms Amber Rose, and now we re not in to that much of gossip here usually but yes they look like a couple on those photos from Concrete Loop. And judging from KanYeYes earlier statements about what kind of girl he wants, Amber look like a possible choice for him, even though she might have some steps left on the style ladder (don't match too much!). If anyone don't get why Im saying sexistic it's his way of looking at women - as a product with perfect accessories. Not as charming for sombody calling him self a renaissance man... He 's in a position to choose what ever he wants, float away and develop every desire he ever had and can step on other peoples rights without them caring, not many people can, who knows what habits one should develop.... But fuck that doesn't make it right.
